    Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time Program Manager to support a customer by managing an IT infrastructure and Network Management Servcies contract in Linthicum, Maryland. The Program Manager will be the single point of contact for all day-to-day IT project operations responsible for project governance, communications with senior officials, planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, control, and quality assurance.

     

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:   

    • Managing day-to-day project activities
    • Identifying issues and risks and recommending possible issue and risk mitigation strategies
    • Facilitating State agency and Master Contractor discussions / meetings
    • Ensuring that performance is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and within budget
    • Identifying critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria
    • Ensuring the application of State System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
    • Providing solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance levels)
    • Monitoring issues and providing resolutions for up-to-date status reports
    • Documenting and delivering project management related artifacts

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline.
    • Minimum 10 Years of experience in Project Management with 5 years of hands on experience using PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge(PMBoK) methodologies.
    • Minimum 8 years experience managing complex IT development projects in the areas of infrastructure and network management

    Required Skills/Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Minimum 10 Years of experience in Project Management with 5 years of hands on experience using PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge(PMBoK) methodologies.
    • Minimum 8 years experience managing complex IT development projects in the areas of infrastructure and network management
    • Have served in a leadership role for 3 successful projects with an organization change management component
