About the Opportunity

Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time Cyber Security Service Provider Compliance Team Lead to help support a government customer on a cyber security program.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Support cyber security policy and communications, including but not limited to assisting in preparing, revising, implementing, coordinating, sustaining, maintaining, and distributing cyber security-related policy, directives, messages, documents, notifications, media and other appropriate communications
  • Cyber security policies shall be documented and communicated to appropriate personnel throughout the enterprise as well as subscriber organizations
  • Utilize knowledge management tools and techniques to effectively and efficiently store and distribute policy-related materials originating from CSC and other sources, including but not limited to professional interest information upon which future policy and/or guidance changes may be based
  • Develop new standard operating procedures (SOP) as needed, and review/update/improve existing SOP
  • Required SOP activities and artifacts include, but are not limited to reviewing, interpreting, revising, developing and distributing policy and guidance documents, populating and maintaining site for cyber security reading materials, and preparation of metrics
  • Assisting in planning, developing, coordinating, scheduling, managing, executing, and closing-out scheduled, assigned, and ad hoc cyber security projects; projects may include, but are not limited to, supporting new and existing cyber security requirements, standards, and regulations, and may encompass action and activity throughout the enterprise and subscriber
  • Anticipate potential limited duration requirements above ongoing base workload, and provide capacity to add resources as required to accommodate dynamic environment

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  • BS or above with a business IT focus, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 or more years IT program/project management experience
  • 5 or more years IT program management experience in Army, DoD, or IC

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Demonstrated successful track record for delivering large/complex projects on time and within budget within DOD
  • Demonstrated expert level experience with the planning, coordinating, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, documenting, executing and analyzing Cyber Security Service Provider Programs. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the DODIN RSI Evaluators Scoring Metrics 9.2 or superseded version. This includes in depth knowledge of DOD 8500 series, NIST SP 800 series, DOD regulations and instructions to include: 8570-01, DODI 8530.01, CJCSI 6510.01, and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Demonstrated successful experience with assessing an organizations maturity level of cyber security compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls and standards to ensure compliancy in accordance with the applicable audits and inspections for an organization
  • Demonstrated expert level understanding of vulnerabilities/ weaknesses across complex IT environments and ability to understand applicability of security standards across technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with communicating and coordinating at a functional senior government.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and developing work products to enable government risk based decision.
  • Demonstrated experience with the development and execution of knowledge management best practices and the automation of knowledge management frameworks in order to enhance processes and procedures related to the management of a project.
  • Demonstrated experience with the development and coordination of guidance and work products related to issues tracking management, plan of actions and milestones, and ensuing transparency of maturity level deltas, progress and challenges within an organization
  • Shall possess at time of award, and retain, equivalent level IAT III certification

 Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Detailed understanding of the security controls identified in NIST SP 800-53a and how they are applied in a DOD environment to mitigate cyber risk.
  • Demonstrated successful experience coordinating cross functionally across various organizations as well as higher headquarters.
  • Familiarity with compliance assessment and continuous valuation of maturity levels within evaluators scoring metrics.
  • Experience developing and accessing cyber security service level agreements.
