DMI is seeking a full time Jr. Help desk Technician/Installer to support its IT infrastructure on a customer project located at the Pentagon. The Jr. Help desk Technician/Installer will help DMI setup laptops/desktops for our government customers.




Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Installs PC's, printers, other equipment and communication hardware according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Assists users throughout the facility; trouble-shoots problems.
  • Requires minimal supervision in performance of job duties; is a self-starter.
  • Prioritizes responsibilities to ensure completion of duties.
  • Communicates clearly and appropriately to supervisor; forwards unresolved problems to supervisor.
  • Handles telephone calls from users with hardware and software problems or questions
  • Answers the phone in a professional manner, routes all calls appropriately.



Education and Years of Experience: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Computer operations experience preferred.

  • PC Proficiency
  •  Must possess a valid Secret Clearance and at least a current Network+ or A+ Certification, this will meet the IAT 1  Requirement


Physical Requirement(s): 

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Job will require physical activity, including but not limited to working under desks for computer installations and traversing considerable distances daily within and
  • between government buildings
  • Conduct minor IT installation
  • Must possess a valid Secret Clearance and at least a current Network+ or A+ Certification, this will meet the IAT 1  Requirement
