Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

 

DMI is currently seeking to hire a full time Project Coordinator to provide support and client management for contract opportunities and Federal Government customers. Project Coordinator will perform a range of tasks including working closely with Program staff, managing systems for tracking projects and associated deliverables, collecting and analyzing data, reporting results and metrics to both internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with project and program process. Customer service, problem solving, effective time management, organizational skills, and professionalism are a must.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Manage, plan, and support project requirements
  • Track and monitor contract tasks and task orders
  • Track and monitor contract budget and manage contract performance metrics
  • Ensure schedule and budget are within scope and client is well-informed
  • Manage Project Staffing as required 
  • Manage Project Procurements requirements
  • Technical writing and document management for full life-cycle Project Management
  • Use the web and other resources to search and retrieve information needed to address specific inquires and data requirements
  • Interact with management and subject matter experts on a daily basis.
  • Takes direction within a team setting and completes team-related work promptly
  • Provide general program information to inquiries received via all incoming channels
  • Assist with Quality Control/Assurance
  • Attend program meetings, they make sure all information has received concurrences and make any appropriate updates. Maintain stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain knowledge management, to include SharePoint, or any other approved electronic repositories
  • Develop and maintain various reports
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  •  BA/BS Degree 
  • 3 to 5 years professional experience

Required Experience/Certifications:

  • Strong attention to detail; Strong multi-tasking ability; Customer Service orientation; Ability to communicate effectively; Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to autonomously balance multiple projects simultaneously

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Technical Writing skills
  • Document Management skills
  • Business Development experience
