About the Opportunity
Program Manager to oversee and lead a team providing service desk, network engineering, and security support for an enterprise level program in Army HRC. This is a full-time position.
Effectively manage a team providing a range of IT support, including customer support and network engineering, in an enterprise-level environment. Provide cost estimation and program analysis. Coordinate day-to-day project management and oversight with next level management and/or technical leads. Lead the earned value analysis and change management efforts for the program. Interact heavily with the client to ensure expectations are met. Make recommendations to the client regarding future direction for the program. Develop project and program management documentation to accompany the system development and project/program management life cycles.
8+ years experience including significant experience in a project or program manager role. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. Experience managing an enterprise-wide contract or task order consisting of Customer Support, Data Center Operations, and Computer Network Defense tasks for Federal government programs. Experience overseeing the execution of infrastructure and application development projects. Experience managing remote teams or geographically dispersed personnel. Experience supporting a contract or task order responsible for adhering to DoD information security and personnel security practices. Experience implementing service level agreements and performance metrics on a contract or task order is preferred. Experience supporting the intelligence community with information technology security requirements is a plus. Solid customer service skills and possessing a pro-active management style, and the ability to work closely with the client. Knowledgeable in task negotiations, monthly reporting, cost estimating, and program analysis. Familiarity with MS Project or similar management tool. Excellent communication skills. Must be a US citizen
