bout the Opportunity

Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking an experienced consultant to support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This is a Capital Planning and Governance (CP&G) position that will assist HITSS in providing Operational Support for the OCIO. This position interfaces with a Senior Government IT Executive on a regular basis and requires high levels of functional integration and interaction.


Duties and Responsibilities:   

Duties for this position will be ad hoc and authorized on a per-project basis. Project efforts may include, but not be limited to:

  • Management of NASA OCIO SharePoint Document Management Library (DML)
  • Support of OCIO Action Tracking System
  • Support of OCIO Consolidated Calendar
  • Creation, modification, and support of OCIO System Engineering and Key Decision Point PowerPoint and SharePoint templates
  • Finalizing and publishing quick reference guides, white papers, standard operating procedures and project/program management standards
  • Support for PMO working groups
  • Support for IT projects in satisfying NPR 7120.7 and NPR 7120.8 process requirements
  • Support for documentation such as editing, managing control logs, drafting deliverables from basic notes



Education and Years of Experience: 

  • BS in Management Information Systems, or similar field
  • 10+ years experience in Business Analysis or related fields

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance
  • Capability to prioritize daily work schedule in keeping with productivity standards
  • MS Office Suite including MS Project and Visio and outlook and Skype
  • Experience using SharePoint 2010/2013
  • Experience in standard Program and Project disciplines for formulation and management

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Microsoft SharePoint Designer
  • Familiarity with NPR 7120.7 and NPR 7120.8
  • SharePoint 2010/2013 Administration experience
