About the Opportunity - 


This is an opportunity for a talented, motivated, and experienced Program Manager to work with an IT consulting organization that is responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining enterprise technology solutions for our client located in Washington, D.C.


As a Program Manager, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including taking projects from original concept through final implementation. The Program Manager interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, executive stakeholders, and vendors. In addition, the selected candidate will ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. The primary responsibility in this role is to manage all aspects of the set up/transfer of a new data center. 


Education and Years of Experience


·        7+ years’ experience as a PM

·        Advanced infrastructure knowledge including cables,cooling,hardware planning, installation and configuration

·        Recommend future strategies

·        Certifications are a plus - PMP, ITIL, ISO 9000

·        Demonstrated use of formal PM methodology

·        An eagerness for a career in consulting

·        Public / Government industry experience is required

Nice to have skills:

Rail experience or work with Data Centers that have been used for operation controls for something in the transportation or military


Physical Requirement(s):  Must be able to lift 40 pounds
