Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

 

Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time SharePoint Web Developer to support its Government customer located in Quantico. 

 

The candidate must have experience designing, developing and implementing complex enterprise software solutions. The role will be responsible for design, develop, customize and integrating and enterprise-wide SharePoint solution. The role requires a disciplined candidate with experience customizing SharePoint 2007 and 2010, as well as future 2013 development

  

Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Utilize best practices to design and develop existing SharePoint 2010 sites and support transition to SharePoint 2013 applications
  • Develop and implement master pages, views, forms, templates, external lists, external content types, custom lists, web parts, master pages and other SharePoint components
  • Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint APIs and architecture including experience with SharePoint web services 2010 API.
  • Experience programming in SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Dreamweaver, PhotoShop and other tools in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience building advanced web applications and technologies such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, JQuery, C#
  • Experience developing SharePoint and SQL applications
  • An understanding of SharePoint and SQL Server structures, theories, principles and best practices
  • Experience configuring, administering, managing and troubleshooting SQL Server 2008 and SharePoint 2010 server farm is a plus

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  •  A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology is required
  • Five years of Web Development experience, which should include 3 years of design and development in a client-facing role.

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • CompTIA Security+ CE DOD 8570.01-M IAT-I baseline certification
  •  Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or 2013 Certification
  • Application Development Training 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Active DoD SECRET level security clearance
