About the Opportunity


Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time IA Security Specialist to support a customer in New Mexico.



Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Provide Knowledge Management Services for all information required to perform Certification and Accreditation services for the White Sands Missile Range CyberSecurity Management Office (CSMO). Assist CSMO personnel with documentation before, during and after inspections and reviews.
  • Assist CSMO personnel in the preparation of inspection documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and eMASS records.
  • Develop, gather, prepare, and disseminate technical information among customers, evaluators, and Government and contractor personnel, in a concise, applicable, and understandable format.
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from personnel needing information/assistance with CyberSecurity (CS) related issues.
  • Use knowledge of SharePoint services to maintain required documentation such as appointment orders, Authority to Connect (ATC), RMF, and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation, and library of Army and other regulations relating to Information Assurance, Memorandums of Understanding/Agreement, Tenant Security Plans, etc.
  • Directly support CS requirements within the immediate area of responsibility (AOR) managing and tracking system administrator elevated level of access to network resources; therefore, requires the knowledge of the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS), and IA DoD 8570.01 status verification.
  • Work with team members to identify issue trends and suggest long-term strategies to help mitigate incoming issues.
  • Analyze and evaluate risk and make recommendations in compliance with all policies, rules, and regulations governing CS functions.
  • Act as a liaison between Government and contractor personnel.


Education and Years of Experience: 

  • B.S. degree in Information Technology or related field; technical writing minor or courses, a plus.
  • Relevant and equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • CompTIA Security+ ce certification preferred.
  • Computing environment training, in accordance with DoD 8570.01.

Required Skills/Certifications: 

  • Demonstrated experience of various COTS software/hardware, and network products; Windows OS, MS Office, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand detailed instructions.
  • Ability to react to customer issues and formulate resolutions quickly.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.


Work Site Requirements:

  • Work at White Sands Missile Range, NM.
  • Must be able to attain and retain a Security Clearance at the Secret level, as a minimum.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must maintain ability to be insured to operate company vehicles.

Physical Requirement:  

  • Must be able to perform the standard requirements for this position on a daily basis.
