    About the Opportunity

    This effort is to provide information sharing, technical support, and user integration services for law enforcement services. The current data integration process requires each data source to be manually mapped to the target eXtensible Markup Language (XML) data format and corresponding transformation code to be developed and tested. Additionally, establish and maintain current acceptable data connections: either Enterprise File Transfer Service (EFTS), web services, or a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) connection.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Shall travel to CJAs to support various data integration functions.
    • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support during teleconferences and meetings with CJAs to perform data integration.
    • Produce technical documentation to support integration services.
    • Develop, maintain, and use automated tools to support all aspects of data integration services.
    • Maintain and upgrade existing data integration projects.
    • Provide recommendations and experience in using and/or developing various Extract Transform Load (ETL) products, or other automated data integration tools.



    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • Five years' experience in Software Procedural Languages. Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) code and Transact-Structured Query Language (T-SQL) code
    • Five years' experience in Programming Languages. JAVA, C, C#, and .NET
    • Five years' experience in databases. Oracle, Microsoft Access, MySQL, Sybase, Firebird database software, c-treeACE, SQL Developer, and relational databases
    • A minimum of four years' experience in transforming languages and schemas. XML,
    • XSLT, XML Schema Definition (XSD), and Document Type Definition (DTD)
    • Five years' experience in using data standards, data validation tools: National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), Logical Entity eXchange Specifications (LEXS), IEPDs, Conformance Testing Assistant (ConTesA), XCOTA
    • A minimum of four years' maintaining and troubleshooting data connections: Enterprise Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
    • Proficiency with web services, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Representational State Transfer Protocols (REST)
    • Proficiency with IEPDs and LE data specifications: Incident and Arrest, Incarceration, Booking, Probation, and Parole.

    Required Skills/Certifications: Active TS is preferred
