About the Opportunity

Are you the type of person who wants to go home every day knowing they’ve made a positive impact on people’s lives?  If so, DMI is looking to add a HRIS Data Entry Specialist to our HR/Benefits team. The HRIS Data Entry Specialist adds a tremendous amount of value not only to the HR Team, but all 2,000 DMI employees by maintaining all employee data by entering new hire information, updating changes to all employees data throughout the employee life cycle and providing support to our Sr HRIS Analyst. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides front line support as one of our points of contacts for employee inquiries received through our HR Inbox and HR Hotline
  • Entering new hire information in to our HRIS system, ADP Workforce Now
  • Managing the EAF (Employee Action Form) process to include working with managers and leadership to ensure all appropriate approvals have been received
  • Entering employee changes in to our HRIS system and maintaining data integrity throughout the employees life cycle
  • Scanning and maintaining employee record changes within our electronic records
  • Prepares and monitors employee data for electronic transmission to third-party vendor; ensures data accuracy
  • Verify and Process all I-9 documentation through 3rd Party system, Tracker
  • HR process library administrator
  • Provide audit support as needed
  • Generates standard ad hoc reports
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Years of Experience:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2 – 3 years of administrative experience in Human Resources or other professional capacity.
  • Experience with Data Entry, processing and entering employee information high volume capacity
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Office products, strong experience in Excel)
  • Previous experience working in an HRIS system required to include data entry, i.e. entering New Hires in the system as well as maintaining employee information, direct experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, direct experience with iCIMS preferred

Required Skills/Certifications:


  • Proven experience with entering data into databases, maintaining data integrity and understanding of HRIS software and codes within systems
  • Demonstrated data entry experience, a proven history of strong auditing skills and experience working with high volume of transactions with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Report preparation and demonstrated ability in reviewing and gathering information
  • Problem solving and decision making skills with very close attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently without close supervision
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Must be able to Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements: The success candidate must be able to stand for an extended person of time, kneel, bend, and ability to lift 25 lbs.
