About the Opportunity

Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time Project Control Specialist/Project Coordinator to support a Defense Information Systems Agency IT infrastructure in the Denver, CO area.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager: such as setting meetings, documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings, distribute minutes to all project team members, and preparing presentation material
  • Assist in preparing project baseline schedules and track updates on milestones and requirements
  • Inform and escalate to the Project Manager any project risks and issues that may impact project schedules and customer relations
  • Assist in onboarding, requesting account access, and maintaining project personnel compliance records
  • Document system performance and stability
  • Assist in identifying improvements to sustainment processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness on project processes
  • Ensuring projects adhere to internal project processes and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Perform other duties assigned


Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Communication, Administration, or relevant field of study
  • 2 plus years of experience as a project coordinator and/or supporting Project Managers in the delivery of IT projects
  • Previous experience in an administrative/support role

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work on tight deadlines, overcome obstacles, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be proactive, results driven, and detailed oriented
  • Competency in Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel and Project
  • Demonstrate understanding of project lifecycle and/or ITIL processes


Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
  • Experience in IT Management
  • Familiarization with Remedy ITSM or other ticketing systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel and Project
  • Ability to work in a team environment with SMEs of different technical backgrounds
  • Experience as a Technical Writer  

Physical Requirement(s): 

  • Must be able to lift 40 pound
  • Must be able to walk long distances for 20% or (certain percentage) of the day


Additional Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Must be able to work core hours 9 AM to 3 PM and on occasions extended work days.
  • On occasions, must be available for after hours and weekend recalls to assist with systems outages or emergencies.
