This position is supporting a large Federal customer in the DC Metro region and Quantico, VA on a project that provides engineering services to a multi-agency center, which facilitates technical knowledge management, solutions sharing, and communication services amongst multiple law enforcement agencies.
The Network Engineer shall have at least eight years of experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting CISCO appliances, Barracuda appliances (load balancers and VPN access). They shall also be an expert on Solar winds and define network SOPs. Experience with Change Management is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Hours: Core hours are between 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, M-F excepting Federal Holidays.
Experience: at least eight years
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent specialized experience in Information Technology or related discipline is preferred
Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Net+, CompTia Security Plus (preferred)
Other: Active Top Secret Clearance is required
