    About the Opportunity

    This position is supporting a large Federal customer in the DC Metro region and Quantico, VA on a project that provides engineering services to a multi-agency center, which facilitates technical knowledge management, solutions sharing, and communication services amongst multiple law enforcement agencies.

     

    The Software developer shall have at least four years domain expertise in the following areas, but not limited to: data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL); web services; data modeling, data structures and information architecture. The software developer shall have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. A minimum of four years programming and modeling experience in medium-sized SQL databases; and a minimum of two years' experience or a very strong working and applied knowledge of Java, Java Script, C#, and C++ programming languages and a minimum of four years' experience creating and maintaining deployed applications against a SQL database (SQL); minimum of two years' experience with query tuning; a strong knowledge of visual studio, HTML, XML, PERL and shell scripts. Should have experience with SAML 2.0 authentication in an ADFS/AD-LDS environment.

     

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop new website/functionality
    • Perform Testing and Quality Control of websites.
    • Provide help desk/Customer support to both internal and external customers.
    • Develop user roles as needed to ensure proper access to website information and tools.
    • Develop SOPs, procedures, and other website documentation as needed.
    • Implement various authentication capabilities for site/portal. 

    Hours: Core hours are between 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, M-F excepting Federal Holidays. 

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent specialized experience in Computer Science or related discipline preferred

     

    Other: Active Top Secret Clearance is required
