    About the Opportunity

    DMI is seeking a full time System Administrators to provide Platform administration and management of enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment. This includes installing, deploying, troubleshooting, patching, and monitoring the MDM solution and providing Tier2 User support/problem resolution. In addition support of MDM internal application offerings and related management including ensuring security compliance.

      

    DMI’s NASA Headquarters Information Technology Support Services (HITSS) contract is a large program that provides high quality IT services across many areas of NASA utilizing technologies such as Java, .Net, Drupal, AWS, virtualization, MicroStrategy, ServiceNow, agile development, etc to enable NASA HQ customers to accomplish NASA’s mission.  We support our customer’s vision to deliver reliable, innovative and respected IT solutions.  Our team provides this support in the areas of Software Development and Testing, IT Engineering, IT Operations, Multimedia, Security, Project Management, Help Desk support, Strategy and Policy support, and Administrative support.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Administer, manage, patch, and operate company deployed MDM solution
    • Support planning, testing, and readiness of new mobile device OS versions (Android and iOS) for the MDM and Application offerings.
    • Manage users in conjunction/coordination with master user management systems, including adds, deletes, etc.
    • Create, configure, and maintain security policies on the MDM and maintain enforcement
    • Understand MDM reporting capabilities and provide weekly reports to Mobile Architect 
    • Create, update, and maintain users and device owners in the MDM
    • Actively assess MDM capabilities and provide technical recommendations for future improvements, enhancements
    • Provide hardware and software support for Android and Apple mobile devices
    • Provide Tier 2 User support, including working with customer and field technicians to resolve technical issues
    • Create and maintain all relevant documentation
    • Support enterprise apps teams in understanding, testing, and readying applications for availability via the MDM solution

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • Bachelors Degree in a computer-related field, MIS, IT, or related field skills, or the equivalent combination of training and experience

    Required Skills/Certifications: 

    • + Years experience supporting and/or administering an MDM platform including Microsoft Intune, Airwatch, Blackberry, or IBM MaaS360
    • Experience and knowledge of mobile device platforms including iOS and Android, including configuration, advanced technical support, and troubleshooting.
    • Understanding and experience with management and operations of an internal mobile app store (preferred)
    • Demonstrated ability to assist and communicate well with internal customers 
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to prioritize among multiple, competing requests
    • Must be a self-starter with strong organization skills
