    About the Opportunity

    Digital Management, LLC (DMI) is seeking to hire a Junior Project Manager with experience in managing and testing End User Devices, asset management, performing product evaluations and managing customer relationships in support of a large Federal agency.

     

    This position interfaces with customer executive level management on a regular basis. The PM will lead and direct high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration and interaction with customer executives.

     

    DMI’s NASA Headquarters Information Technology Support Services (HITSS) contract is a large program that provides high quality IT services across many areas of NASA utilizing technologies such as Java, .Net, Drupal, AWS, virtualization, MicroStrategy, ServiceNow, agile development, etc to enable NASA HQ customers to accomplish NASA’s mission.  We support our customer’s vision to deliver reliable, innovative and respected IT solutions.  Our team provides this support in the areas of Software Development and Testing, IT Engineering, IT Operations, Multimedia, Security, Project Management, Help Desk support, Strategy and Policy support, and Administrative support.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Primary lead for the End User Device (EUD) Project to ensure all documentation and process is approved
    • Work with Senior Management to support and deploy EUDs as requested
    • Work with Senior Management to write a process to implement support model for EUDs
    • Review and identify new EUD product and accessories for consideration and introduction into existing environment
    • Ensure Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) and other compliance and vulnerability issues are remediated with each new product.
    • Ensure 33% of controls are reviewed each year for security purposes
    • Demonstrate knowledge of testing for EUDs as it is introduced into the environment
    • Write knowledge articles to include best practices for the support and triage of the EUD
    • Experience with writing non-technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Experience with Microsoft product evaluation and equipment deployments
    • Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills
    • Experience with refreshing equipment and formalizing customer requirements
    • Prepare documentation including slides, business justifications and recommendations to executive level audience
    • Assist with preparing project schedules and tracking updates on milestones and requirements
    • Ability to use ticketing or tracking system to track work to closure
    • Support senior management with resource management 

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

    Required Skills/Certifications: 

    • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills
    • Effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills
    • Proven ability to work on tight deadlines, overcome obstacles, and adapt to changing priorities
    • Must be proactive, results driven, and detail oriented
    • Competency in Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel and Project

    Desired Skills/Certifications: 

    • Mobile device management or alike software knowledge
    • Experience with the management of enterprise level projects
    • ITIL or PMP Certification
    • Asset management experience
