    About the Opportunity

    Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time Program Manager to help support a Department of Defense government customer. 

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Interface with Contract Officer Representatives for matters of operational and technical delivery
    • Formulates and enforces work standards, assigns contractor schedules, reviews discrepancies, supervises contract personnel, communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization
    • Oversees the activities of all the contract task areas
    • Creates, edits, and delivers contract deliverables to the government
    • Manages government expectations for scope, schedule, and resources
    • Provides daily tactical project management support to short suspense government requirements
    • Provides strategic planning objectives and identifies key execution milestones to ensure a project remains on schedule and the contract provides recommendations to the government corrective actions to keep projects on time
    • Effectively analyze and mitigate project risks and manage customer expectations
    • Establish enterprise-wide practices, processes, and tools to enhance information-sharing and collaboration
    • Support senior and executive level management briefings
    • Schedule reviews of existing capabilities and compare to new and emerging capabilities 

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field, or equivalent experience
    • 10 or more years IT program management experience
    • 5 or more years DoD program management experience
    • 5 or more years DoD or other government experience 

    Required Skills/Certifications: 

    • Possess an active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification and/or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification. Proposed TOPM must include certification and/or certification number.
    • Experience serving as the contractor's single manager and delivery interface with the Government's COR and TPOC for contracts of similar size, scope, and contract type. This includes managing multiple concurrent projects at multiple geographic locations.
    • Experience and ability to plan and execute complex IT tasks and projects effectively with minimal Government direction and oversight.
    • Demonstrated expert-level knowledge in planning, directing, and managing large scale DoD Enterprise Level projects/operations for DoD or other government Agencies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent multi-tasker
    • Customer Focused

    Desired Skills/Certifications: 

    • Level III (IAM III) or higher certification, as defined in DoD 8570.01-M and required by DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01).
    • Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve successful application migrations.
    • Experience maintaining a network enterprise, managing incidents, and resources.
    • Possess foundational or higher ITIL certification.

     

    Physical Requirement(s): Job will require physical activity, including but not limited to traversing considerable distances daily within and between government buildings.Must be able to travel 10% of the time – including, train, air, bus, automobile ect. to bi-coastal and CONUS government locations

     

    Location: Mark Center - Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA (Additional CONUS sites)
