    About the Opportunity

    Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a full time SAP/BMC Systems Engineer to support a Defense Information Systems Agency IT infrastructure in the Denver, CO area.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Install, integrate, configure a BMC Remedy Ticketing System with SAP including Business Intelligence, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and ITSM Universe.
    • Perform Windows System Administration duties and responsibilities and SRM Mid-Tier Servers and Orchestration (Process Automation).
    • Installation, configure and implement a Remedy SMTP Relay
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance in support of the sustainment of a Remedy Ticketing System.
    • Maintain continued system performance and stability.
    • Follow strict DISA procedures to ensure system integrity and security.
    • Identify enhancements and improvements to sustainment processes to improve system efficiency, effectiveness, and security.
    • Maintain all network and system architecture and design documents in accordance with set Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Provide assistance in the procurement of components and services to support system maintenance, implementation and operation.
    • Support Information Assurance personnel to assure security architecture, design, and implementation is in accordance with DoD Regulations and DISA policy and procedures.

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience: 

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • 5 plus years of experience in Remedy BMC systems deployment, integration, operations, and sustainment with SAP including Business Intelligence, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and ITSM Universe.

    Required Skills/Certifications:

    • DOD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I compliant
    • Remedy BMC Ticketing System integration, configuration, deployment, and sustainment
    • Security+ CE certification

    Desired Skills/Certifications:

    • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
    • Advanced proficiency in the Windows Server operating system
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and client focus a must
    • Ability to work in a team environment with other SMEs of different technical backgrounds
    • Microsoft Certified System Administrator or Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Server Administration
    • Proficiency in industry standard desktop applications especially Microsoft Visio, Office and specialized architecture tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect

    Physical Requirement(s): 

    • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
    • Job will require physical activity, including but not limited to working under desks for computer installations
    • Must be able to walk long distances for 20% or (certain percentage) of the day

    Additional Requirements:

    • Active Secret (SSBI) or Top Secret clearance (IT Level 1)
    • Must be able to work core hours 9 AM to 3 PM and on occasions extended work days.
    • On occasions, must be available for after hours and weekend recalls to assist with systems outages or emergencies.
