    About the Opportunity

    Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking an experienced project/program management consultant to support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This position is part of a team within the Agency Program Management Office for IT (APMO/IT) who support the daily governance operations for large-scale enterprise level projects using established PMO and NASA policies and processes. This position interfaces with Senior Government IT Executives on a daily basis and requires high levels of functional integration and interaction.



    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Schedule participants and facilitate governance board meetings; record attendance; prepare minutes and decision memos; ensure compliance with record keeping requirements.
    • Attention to detail to maintain Enterprise-wide IT support systems for project management including action tracker, document signature routing system, consolidated calendar, board management site.
    • Advise Program Executives, Program Managers, and Senior NASA Executives on policy, processes, PMO tools, and program/project management as needed.
    • Assist Program Executives, Program Managers, and Project Teams with documenting their IT projects, initiatives, and activities in the OCIO Portal; managing (e.g., tracking, updating, reviewing) dashboards and reports.
    • Ensure Program Executives, Program Mangers, and Project Managers update assigned projects, initiatives, and activities in the SharePoint based portfolio management tool.
    • Operate effectively within customer guidance, contractual limitations, and company business and policy directives.
    • Develop/maintain standard operating procedures and templates
    • Review/edit/revise program record documentation with 0 defects using NASA documentation standards, acceptable grammar and punctuation.



    Education and Years of Experience:

    • BS in Business or equivalent
    • 2+ years of program/project management
    • Technical knowledge of computers, systems, databases, general use software programs and office equipment  

    Required Skills/Certifications: 

    • Understanding of the standard project lifecycles
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Problem solving and analytical skills
    • Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance
    • Capability to prioritize daily work schedule in keeping with productivity standards
    • MS Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Skype
    • Experience using SharePoint 2010/2013

    Desired Skills/Certifications: 

    • PMP and/or PgMP Certification
    • ITIL Certification
    • Clearances that can be transferred
    • SharePoint 2010/2013 Administration experience
    • MS Project experience


    Additional Requirement(s): 

    • A Public Trust clearance and physical access to the NASA Headquarters building in Washington D.C. is required for this position.



    Physical Requirement(s): Ability to be physically present on customer site and engage in long-period telecoms.
