    About the Opportunity

    DMI is seeking an Oracle Forms and Reports Developer to join our team in support the operation and sustainment of the Legacy Cadet Administrative Management Information Systems (CAMIS); Legacy CAMIS is the system used by the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) to train tomorrow’s military leaders. This position requires the developer to have 2+ years’ experience specifically focused on Oracle Forms and Reports development; we are currently transitioning from 11g to 12c so experience in either version is acceptable. We prefer candidates that have been involved in the full development lifecycle from project initiation to production deployment in an Agile environment.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports to include: stored procedures, packages, triggers, and materialized views; experience with effective debugging; and performance tuning
    • Understanding dependencies and relationships between Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Interfaces, and Oracle Databases
    • Able to create and execute test plans, to include unit and peer testing, for standard and client-specific benefits requirements
    • Demonstrate knowledge of PL/SQL to include tuning SQL statements
    • Must have, or be able to pass, a National Agency Check Investigation (NACI)



    Education and Years of Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience

    Desired Skills/Certifications:

    • Knowledge of military/US Air Force/United States Air Force Academy operations is a plus
    • Knowledge of PL/SQL Discoverer is a plus
    • Knowledge of WebCenter is a plus
    • Knowledge of Application Express (VERY desirable)
    • Knowledge of Agile software development methodology is a plus
