    About the Opportunity

    Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is looking for a full time Test Engineer to support a government client. The Test Engineer will be part of a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team focused on ensuring quality, compliance, and performance of the application. Responsible for performing functional and automated testing and supporting UAT and Hands on Experience in Mobile and Web-based applications.

      

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ability to create Automation Test Scripts for Web and Mobile testing using tools such as Appium, Selenium, MS Test Manager, Xcode, Android Studio, and Protractor
    • Ability to understand business and technical requirements to creating appropriate vertically sliced test cases
    • Ability to understand technical options and design limitations of applications while defining test cases
    • Ability to test Rest API's and interfaces
    • Experience on BDD framework (Robot Framework or Cucumber)
    • Experience of Load and Performance testing using tools such as JMeter and VSTS Load Test
    • Experience of testing in a Cloud-based environment
    • Hands on experience on Security Testing and Accessibility Testing (WCAG, 508 Compliance)
    • Hands on experience on using Project Management tools such as VSTS
    • Experience supporting Globally Distributed development teams
    • An eye for detail, excellent oral and written communication skills
    • May be required to create artifacts such as Test Strategy Document, Usability Testing Plan, Testing Scripts, and Test Summary Reports

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline
    • 3-6 yrs. of experience in the following area
      • Developing test scripts and test case for automated or manual testing
      • Experience analyzing business, functional and security information requirement
      • Demonstrated problem solving for complex business systems or environments
      • Competent to work in most phases of business analysis and project life-cycle
      • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
      • Prior experience working in Transportation industry desirable 

    Required Skills/Certifications:

    •  Experience working with tools such as :
      • Virtual Studio Team Services (VSTS) - MS Test Manager
      • JIRA
      • Selenium

    Additional Requirement(s):

    • Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
