    Xamarin Mobile Developer

    What You Can Expect


    As a Xamarin consultant, you’ll develop cross-platform mobile apps and components utilizing the latest and greatest tools available from Microsoft.

    You will successfully develop and implement custom mobile apps that meet the needs of our clients. Your responsibilities will include designing and prototyping potential solutions, participating in design and review meetings, collaborating with UI/UX teams and of course app development activities. You’ll tap into your experience within the .NET framework as well as your knowledge of the iOS and Android ecosystems to aid in the construction of interactive and dynamic mobile applications.


    You will keep up to date on emerging technologies to help with your personal career growth and continue to stretch your skillset by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations


    Required Skills/Certifications: 

    • 2 or more years of software development experience
    • 6+ months of Xamarin development experience
    • Knowledge of Entity Framework (or similar ORM tooling), C# and LINQ
    • Experience developing or consuming SOAP and/or RESTful web services
    • Proficient with relational database systems such as SQL Server and Oracle
    • Experience both creating technical designs and communicating those designs to clients and teammates
    • Ability to conduct and participate in peer code reviews
    • Proven experience writing high quality, object-oriented code
    • Unit testing experience
    • Excellent desktop and productivity tools skills, including Office & Visio (or similar)
    • Very strong written and oral communication skills
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, and excellent presentation skills
    • Ability to effectively work both autonomously as well as on a team
    • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

    Desired Skills/Certifications: 

    • Client-side web development experience with frameworks like Angular or React
    • Consulting background
    • Experience working with teams in an agile environment
    • Xamarin Certified Developer Certification
