    About the Opportunity

     

    DMI is seeking a full time Account Director to support our office in Arlington, VA. This is a key leadership role within our growing office. This role will support the Account/Sales team and manage a portfolio of accounts to help company achieve growth goals. Success in this role is seen through creating an environment for great work, being responsible for the profitable delivery of services, holding key client relationships and delivering true business value in line with the client’s strategy.

     

    Simply put, the Account Supervisor is both a steward of the Agency and Client business. You gain the trust of your clients with your marketing, digital and technical expertise, helping them navigate their challenges. You are a champion of innovative work and creative solutions to help clients understand, adapt and win. You are passionate and knowledgeable about digital experiences, platforms and processes.  At the end of the day, you are performance-driven with a focus on growing your account relationships, revenue and results.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Business acumen and skilled in inspiring client confidence and building enduring client relationships.
    • Experience in overseeing both branding and marketing efforts as well as design and development of website/app projects for clients.
    • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both within the agency as well as with client teams.
    • Looks beyond just the project management side of things and is able to develop and drive the business and take it further. The person must be apt enough to identify and secure opportunities/new projects to drive organic growth. 
    • Lead and coach high-performing teams working to support fast moving accounts.
    • Manage project financials and guide the development of new SOWs.
    • Works on new business when required and pro-actively identifies opportunities for incremental revenue.

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience:

    • 8+ years of agency experience
    • Proven success managing clients and growing revenue
    • Passion and expertise for digital experiences, platforms and processes
    • Performance-driven with strong leadership skills
    • Strong communication skills – visual, written & verbal
    • Entrepreneurial, innovative and collaborative
