    About the Opportunity

    DMI is looking for a Strategist to support its Brand Marketing Customer Experience division in Arlington, VA.

     

    Deeply understand customers, technology and competition and synthesize into product strategy. Accountable, hands-on problem solver and creative thinker who will take an idea and make it real working with clients, on potentially multiple projects, acting as a consultant.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Leading product vision and product concept development activities to define a solution scope and create a product roadmap that achieves business goals based upon user needs
    • Define business requirements and product feature backlogs that align with product roadmaps.  Lead creation of use cases, business requirements, user flows and product backlog deliverables
    • Work collaboratively with User Research, User Experience, Creative Design and Technical teams to guide products from concept through the development life-cycle
    • Prioritize development activities with research and engineering teams, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, work closely with QA on acceptance testing and lead product launches.

    Qualifications

     

    Education and Years of Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, psychology, sociology or other related field
    • 2-3 years of brand marketing and digital experience

     

    Required Skills/Certifications:  

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Skilled presenter
    • Tech-savvy with finger on the pulse of innovation, technology and digital marketing trends
    • Smart brain. Strong gut. Knows how to tug the heartstrings.
