    About the Opportunity

    DMI is looking for a Director, Strategic Account Marketing to develop and execute strategies that increase DMI’s role as a strategic partner to our key accounts. By working closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Sales to deliver high-touch initiatives for these accounts, you will have a direct impact on DMI’s growth.

    Reporting directly to the CMO, you are responsible for designing and executing the marketing program for our top accounts. This is an ideal role or someone that wants to make a hands-on impact to both delighting our clients and revenue growth. You pride yourself on understanding client needs and positioning the right solutions to support them in their digital transformation.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • In partnership with account managers, develop an understanding of our clients’ strategic priorities, initiatives underway, and how DMI can help
    • Partner with account managers to understand progress against annual and quarterly bookings and revenue targets and design tactics to close identified gaps
    • Develop high-touch marketing tactics focused at the account-level that increase DMI’s positioning as a strategic services provider
    • Scale execution of program tactics across the key accounts for targeted growth
    • Create account-based content that resonates with decision-makers and motivates them to take action
    • Partner with clients to support them in communicating their successes both internally and externally
    • Ensure consistent white-glove treatment across our key accounts
    • Lead 1-2 team members; engage cross-functional marketing team to support in surround tactic execution
    • Run programs that provide opportunities for networking and relationship-building between our key accounts, such as advisory boards, dinner series, etc


    Ideal Characteristics:

    • Understands our brand proposition and has experience working with similar technology services organizations
    • Has successfully managed both direct-line and dotted-line team members
    • Brings creative ideas and new ways of thinking to achieve our goals
    • Has background in account-based marketing and/or field marketing
    • Has strong client-facing and executive presence

    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • 6-8 years of Marketing and/or Sales experience required
    • Four-year degree; MBA preferred

    Required Skills: 

    • Critical, creative, and innovative thinker is a must
    • Must be able to juggle many priorities under tight deadlines while being highly detailed and organized
    • Creates an inclusive and creative environment
    • Strong content development skillset
    • Exceptional collaborative skills and experience working and leading in a matrix organization
