    About the Opportunity

    DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator / IBM End-Point Manager

    to support a Federal customer with specialized engineering, application, and operational tasks relating to IBM End-Point Manager (EPM) (previously BigFix).

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for providing technical knowledge, administration, maintenance, and operation of the IBM End Point Manager tools, including:
      • IBM End-Point Manager (EPM)
      • Software Usage Analysis
      • WebReports
      • WebConsole
      • BigFix Inventory (BFI)
      • Security & Analytics (SCA)
      • Future IBM End-Point Manager Modules

    • Share knowledge with other IT professionals
    • Deploy software, security updates, and image baselines
    • Troubleshoot and remediate problems with deployments
    • Train users to operate tool capabilities
    • Provide resolution of incidents and problems
    • Recommend and carry out project to bring systems and devices under management, install tools, improve processes and procedures, perform routine application or hardware upgrades
    • Create custom monitoring and reporting
    • Create and generate specialized reports
    • Perform routine maintenance including: patching operating systems and applications, monitoring operating status, providing reports, and coordinating with other teams as needed
    • Provide documentation support to create life cycle management documentation
    • Assist with Configuration and Change management in all aspects of asset, license, and lifecycle management of the IBM EPM
    • Track and coordinate license and warranty expirations

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Active TS Clearance
    • 2-3 years of professional experience in:
      • Experience with IBM EPM

    • Experience with Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, including Active Directory preferred
    • Experience with Virtual and Cloud environments preferred
    • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktops preferred

     

    Physical Requirement(s): No Physical requirement needed for this position.

    Location: Washington, DC

    • M-F (excluding Federal Holidays) 8 hours/day between 6AM-6PM
    • Some after hours/weekend work may be required to respond to emergencies on an on-call basis
