    About the Opportunity

    DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for an Endpoint Security Engineer (VSBE only Position) to support our customer in Linthicum, MD.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Performs all aspects of technical operations:
      • Make recommendations to improve the overall health of the MD THINK Enterprise technical infrastructure.
      • Install, configure, and maintain critical systems and application software necessary to support core Enterprise services including, but not limited to, administrative and instructional servers, directory service, client/server applications, e-mail services, web services, database back-end services, content filtering and other technical systems.
    • Interact with State technical staff and users to discuss system enhancements, upgrades or changes in technical services. This includes server deployments, messaging services, computer system upgrades, network operations system upgrades and changes in network security.
    • Utilize help desk system to generate and complete tickets and to document performance activities. Verifies all work orders are assigned, updated, and closed accurately and completed in a timely manner.
    • Perform customer service to ensure customers satisfaction with products, services, recommendations via in person, email, phone, or self-service systems:
    • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and courteous manner while ensuring all customer communication is documented.
      • Build and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers.
      • Educate users on the use of computer hardware and software.


    Education and Years of Experience:  

    • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
    • Must have eight (8) years of experience in troubleshooting and managing security of endpoint devices including Windows and Mac PCs and laptops, tablets, Wi-Fi networks, etc.
    • Skilled in the installation and configuration of endpoint security tools such as antivirus, configuration management, and data loss prevention software.


    • CompTIA (or similar) certifications are preferred such as A+, Security+, and Network+
