    About the Opportunity

If so, DMI is looking to add a Financial Analyst to our Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The Financial Analyst adds a tremendous amount of value not only to the FP&A Team, but all 1,500 DMI employees by responding to inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters in addition to assisting with the administration of DMI's benefit programs. You will join an FP&A team of professionals that embrace the DMI core values by demonstrating daily that we are customer driven and employee focused, we lead by example and take ownership and are both performance driven and trust partners.     Duties and Responsibilities:

    . Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

    . Work closely and directly with business unit heads and provide operational support

    . Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.

    . Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

    . Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.

    . Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

    . Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

    . Weekly/monthly standardized report publishing to management

    . Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.

    . Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

    . Support Ad-hoc data requests


    Requirements: 1-2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
