    About the Opportunity

    DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to support our client in Milwuakee, WI


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    As a Program/Project Manager, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including taking projects from original concept through final implementation.  The Project Manager interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, executive stakeholders, and vendors.  In addition, the selected candidate will ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.  If you are looking for a rewarding position that will make a significant contribution to your success and growth, look no further.


    Proven Experience and Sphere of Influence:

    • Manage changes to project scope: Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate customer acceptance.
    • Execute project plan: Execute the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.
    • Communicate project plan: Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.
    • Establish project deliverables: Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.
    • Monitor and control project work: Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
    • Implement approved actions: Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project.
    • Conduct kick-off meeting: Conduct a kick-off meeting with all key stakeholders in order to announce the start of the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.
    • Identify high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints: Document high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment in order to understand project limitations.
    • Speaks clearly: Communicates information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
    • Writes clearly: Communicates information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
    • Possesses good listening skills: Description: Listens intently to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions when appropriate, and allowing others to speak without interrupting them.
    • Demonstrates high ethics and values: Inspires loyalty and trust, handles oneself ethically following core values and beliefs.


    Education and Years of Experience:  


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
    • 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager with at least one full lifecycle as a Scrum Master or Agile PM (stand-ups, sprints, backlogs, etc.)
    • 5+ years of experience managing projects in Automotive industry
    • Warranty Management Systems experience preferred
    • Experience selecting and implementing COTS products
    • Experience interfacing with end customers, IT leaders, external vendors and stake holders
    • Have managed projects with scope to include:  cost greater than $2.5M annually; project duration of 12 months or greater; team size no less than 25 people of varying skills and IT disciplines; new development projects from requirements through implementation; multiple, concurrent project management experience.
    • Experience creating multiple project plans and plan integration (Master Plans), client business plans, and client IT plans.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and cross-functional groups; including developers, business analysts, quality assurance testers, project managers, and client business partners
    • PMP certification
    • Expert with MS Project
    • CSM certification or PMI-ACP certification is preferred
