    About the Opportunity

    DMI's Commerce group seeking an experienced .Net Developer responsible for building .Net applications using languages and technologies of the .Net framework. In this role, you will be developing code and services from scratch to power mobile applications. You must also work collaboratively with client staff and team members to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver functionality.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in requirements analysis
    • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
    • Develop required documentation throughout the SDLC
    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, scalable, and reliable code
    • Integrate data storage solutions
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
    • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
    • Unit test and deploy applications

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of .NET web framework: .Net Core, MVC
    • Proficient in C# and/or VB.NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
    • Skill for writing reusable libraries
    • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
    • Knowledge of concurrency patterns
    • Experience implementing enterprise-level applications
    • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
    • Experience with popular web application frameworks
    • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
    • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
    • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
    • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
    • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
    • Experience with .Net Web API desirable
    • Experience using the Xamarin framework and toolset, including Xamarin.Forms and Xamarin Native, a plus
    • Familiarity with integration of Gigya a plus
    • Ability to communicate clearly and interact professionally and productively with business owners to clarify requirements and answer questions
    • Ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish tasks on schedule
    • Experience with source code management, specifically experience with Git
    • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
