    About the Opportunity

    DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Platform Trainer to support our client in Cincinnati, OH.

    Duties and Responsibilities:


    As the Trainer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the training curriculum and training materials, executing training sessions, providing on-going educational support, and develop CBT videos for self-paced training for our growing team. Over time, will be responsible for establishing and executing a training service offering to clients.

    You will be challenged to learn the our platform and determine the best way to teach new team members as they join the team. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances knowledge retention and application
    • Working with subject matter experts to identify training needs and establish a curriculum
    • Applying instructional design theories, practices and methods
    • Creating exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
    • Creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
    • Managing and maintaining training assets & activities to ensure they are in sync with the evolving technology

    The training is not simply focused on the capabilities of the platform itself, though, it needs to also include the broader market dynamic perspectives and drivers, consumer behavior patterns to drive engagement, and soft skills for being highly effective team members.

    Project teams and clients are spread across multiple locations and times zones, so most of the training will need to be effectively managed in virtual environments. Will need to provide thought leadership in distance learning and eLearning techniques and technologies to enable the highest quality and most efficient training possible.

    The platform capabilities continue to grow as the industry evolves, so keeping up-to-date is essential. To keep at the top of your field, you will remain current on industry and technology trends, new teaching techniques and technologies, and new platform capabilities.



    Required Skills/Certifications: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in educational field
    • 3+ years of teaching experience, preferably in a technical discipline
    • 3+ years of technology experience
    • Experience as a Technical Trainer or Training Coordinator
    • Experience in instructional design
    • Experience creating and maintaining a training curriculum
    • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to a level of detail appropriate for the audience
    • Ability to manage multiple tracks of work
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and self-motivated
    • Will require up to 25% travel


    Desired Skills/Certifications: 

    • Advanced Degree in educational field
    • Experience teaching a Platform, such as ServiceNow, SalesForce, or SharePoint
    • Experience working in a consulting firm
