    About the Opportunity

    Digital Management Inc. (DMI) is seeking a Service Transition Manager who will be responsible for supporting the delivery of managed services across a large IT infrastructure environment (LAN/WAN, server infrastructure) , to include -  Change, Configuration, and Release Management. Candidate must be able to stand up and support execution of ITIL-based processes within a managed services environment.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage and coordinate system changes to mitigate negative impact to system availability
    • Conduct asset management for 1000+ network and server devices, to include periodic asset validation, service contract management, EOL identification and support for EOL replacement planning
    • Coordinate release and deployment of necessary system updates, as approved by the customer
    • Support integration/on-boarding of additional services and users as requested
    • Ensure configuration consistency across network and server devices
    • Maintain updated list of Configuration Items (CI)
    • Coordinate RFCs, CCBs with contractor and government staff
    • Ensure all changes are properly documented, including updates to necessary knowledge base articles
    • Provide oversight for all integration testing prior to change deployment

    Qualifications

    Education and Years of Experience: 

    • BS/BA with at least 10 years of relevant experience
    • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management preferred

    Required Skills/Certifications:

    • ITILv3 Intermediate

    Desired Skills/Certifications:

    • PMI PMP Preferred
