    About the Opportunity

    DMI is currently seeking an experienced professional to fill a Mid-Level Project Control Analyst position to support ten to twenty Federal government contracts. The individual will support a number of activities including ETC / EAC input and analysis, support month-end close, review financial reports and ensure all costs have been accounted for, support project close-out activities.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Participate in project setup activities for contract awards and subsequent mods
    • Manage subcontractor purchase order funding and coding of vendor invoices
    • Support monthly close, ensure all costs accounting and revenue recognition is in accordance with GAAP, prepare costs accruals, revenue adjustments and contract loss reserves as needed with necessary audit backup documentation
    • Support the preparation of monthly invoices, facilitate any labor corrections or vendor reclasses as necessary, prepare any contractually required financial reporting / financial deliverable support
    • Provide ETC / EAC, forecast burn analysis and reporting, T&M rate analysis support
    • Support Unbilled Analysis and reconciling invoicing, receivables and revenue
    • Annual Audit Support

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum of three (3) years' experience in financial analysis, program finance or project control is required
    • Experience with GAAP and Federal contracting
    • Proficient in CostPoint 7 and IBM Cognos
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
    • Excellent Communication skills
    • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail - ability to produce financial reports with minimal errors
    • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
