We are seeking a Scrum Master to support Application Development and Customer Experience type projects. You will lead client engagements leveraging agile techniques with a focus on delivering high value, high-quality deliverables for clients while working within the constraints of the project (scope, budget, time). The ideal candidate is a digitally-savvy, strategic servant-leader who is skilled at enabling high performing teams. You must have an eye for fantastic creative work and be able to identify and sell through innovative ideas to the client.  




  • Responsible for driving project delivery and development of relationships that positions DMI for continued growth on accounts by motivating and engaging teams to produce the best possible results
  • Managing the full lifecycle of technical engagements including activities such as discovery, sprint planning, customer experience strategy, research, IA, UX, UI, frontend + backend development, API/3rd party integrations, risk management/escalation, QA, analytics, launch/release process
  • Oversee client relationship(s) with responsibility for staffing/resourcing, client satisfaction, working with project stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and ensuring the quality of work meets internal standards and client objectives
  • Manage agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban, work with a global team to ensure continuous delivery and ensure the involvement of  the right people with the correct skill-set required for project success and overall account utilization (goals, deliverables, schedule, budget, resources)
  • Ability to foresee and identify risks, remove blockers and understanding of proper escalation among project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Ensure project is delivered on budget while tracking all 3rd party costs and validating client invoicing matches timesheets and contract terms
  • Identifying scope creep (internal + external) to manage delivery and escalate as needed to account team for support
  • Must have excellent presentation, verbal and written skills to interface with internal/external teams
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, think quickly under pressure, and contribute new ideas
  • Take initiative to identify opportunities to elevate the work with the team and help introduce innovative solutions or approaches
  • Assist the Account Management team with the creation of new proposals and participate in client meetings  


Basic Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in the field of computer science or related disciplines
  • 4+ years in Project Management experience, preferably leveraging agile techniques such as SAFe, Scrum or Kanban.
  • Understanding of project management principles, waterfall/agile/hybrid workflow and creating successful teams
  • Experience with mobile app and website development projects, managing UX/UI creative teams
  • Experience with global delivery teams and understanding of the onshore, offshore and hybrid team models
  • Experience with management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, etc..
  • Experience leading successful technical client engagements
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Develop relationships with clients through gaining trust and successful delivery
  • Manage interdisciplinary teams of 5-10 people


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Background as Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Scrum Master or other hands-on leadership experience in the software business, ideally in mobile or website development.
  • Experience with other projects types, including video, branding, creative campaign, social media, traditional media is a plus
  • Willingness to travel
