    About the Opportunity

    DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Customer Experience (CX) Strategist to support our Brand Marketing and Customer Experience team in Arlington, VA.


    The ideal candidate would have:

    • Ability to plan, conduct and analyze customer research (primary and syndicated data) to identify trends and insights, with the ability to translate those insights into strong recommendations to guide client/agency teams forward
    • A deep curiosity and tenacity for understanding the user, including their needs, challenges, goals, behaviors and attitudes
    • Singularity of focus to prioritize what’s most important in order to guide Creative, UX and Technology, as well as the rigor to synthesize documentation into a concise, clear path forward, such as strategic recommendations and creative briefs
    • Understanding of a brand’s role to engage in today’s digital world, from campaigns to products
    • Curiosity to learn and explore the client’s business to understand what will drive success 
    • Strong collaboration with creative, UX and technology, with the ability to lead comfortably and effectively 
    • A focus on business results balanced with consumer desirability to drive teams toward a creative and innovation solution


    Responsibilities may include:

    • Design and lead customer insight research and usability activities to inform strategic and creative direction—including primary and secondary research, persona development and customer journey mapping—to make strategic recommendations 
    • Develop digital strategy for marketing campaigns, including partnering with account, media and creative teams
    • Collaborate with UX, Creative and Technology on product innovation projects, from the product conception, design and development phases 
    • Lead client presentations, delivering strategic recommendations with confidence and conviction
    • Support new business development, contributing to proposals and participating in pitches
    • Serve as a thought leader on cultural and digital trends 



    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, psychology, sociology or other related field
    • 3 to 5 years professional experience in a strategy role at an agency, preferably with a combination of strategy (marketing) and customer experience (product) 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
    • Skilled presenter
    • Tech-savvy with finger on the pulse of innovation, technology and digital marketing trends
    • Smart brain. Strong gut. Knows how to tug the heartstrings. Curious – with an insatiable desire to tackle what’s next
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
