About the Opportunity

DMI is looking for a Commercial Business Development/Sales Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit that can take DMI's World Class Digital Experiences into new markets. As DMI continues its growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced sales executive who has sold into new markets and has relationships with executives such as Chief Digital Officers, Chief Marketing Officers and Digital Experience Managers.

 

The ideal candidate will have a background in selling Digital Experience Solutions via Mobile, CMS Platforms, Marketing Technology and innovative technology deployments.  We are looking for someone with established client relationships and the desire to find and grow their network. This individual will be focused on helping DMI promote its decade of digital experiences to commercial B2C and B2B clients.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Consistently meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Must generate new business from new B2C and B2B clients.
  • Must have a proven track record selling into Fortune 500 Businesses and Digital Native Companies across a wide range of industries in Auto, Transportation, Hospitality, Retail, Consumer, Media, Technology, Banking and Capital Markets, Health Care, Education, Insurance a plus with direct relationships.
  • Manage and develop relationships with customers and provide a consultative sales approach that delivers the highest level of account management services.
  • Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients.
  • Accurately and consistently report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
  • Participate in creation, editing and closure of services proposals and contracts.
  • Work with DMI business unit and practice leaders to understand and position their technologies, understand and articulate their value proposition to clients.
  • Participate in remote sales and field marketing activities to generate interest and provide information to the client prospect community to drive interest in solutions and offerings.
  • Set proper expectations and maintain open communication with clients and vendors through the lifecycle of the business development and sales process.
  • Effectively leverage supporting resources in the sales process with the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Professionally develop and present sales presentations to large groups and executive level clients.

 Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years in sales and/or business development services experience.
  • Experience with client sales engagement to include pro-active networking, cold/warm calling, and selling to multiple contacts within an organization, including 'C' levels.
  • Experience selling into the identified commercial sectors and bring established and trusted relationships to DMI Services that will benefit our growth and skills.

Location: East Coast of US Preference

Travel Required: within the Continental US (While 70% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
