About the Opportunity

DMI (Digital Management, Inc.) is seeking a FEM Application Program Manager for our proposed staffing plan--Scientific, Engineering, Technical, and Analytical (SETA) support for: NAVSEA, Corporate 6 (C-6) Naval Shipyards, Naval Industrial Base and the Navy Systems Support Group (NSSG).   This is a Navy opportunity for the Navy Systems Support Group (NSSG).  The opportunity is to provide support services and subject matter expertise in the following areas: Naval Shipyard maintenance processes and IT systems; facilitation and continuous process and performance improvement; process and software implementation and training; operations research, decision support analytics, metrics development; and strategic planning. 

 

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Support NSSG with long range planning, budgeting, scheduling, security certification, program management tool development, information dissemination, and other activities that support the development and implementation of this system FEM.
  • Provide Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) Program Support deliverables and revisions IAW agreed upon schedules.
  • Support NSSG to work very closely with SEA04 PMO-IT as the NSY as trusted agent for Project Management and Business Operations Management functions.
  • Provide Shipyard IT Systems Requirements Generation and Implementation.
  • Support deliverables and revisions IAW agreed upon schedules.
  • Ensure documents are technically accurate and grammatically correct.
  • Support NSSG to establish and maintain an integrated corporate plan of action for all ship maintenance business processes and IT improvements.
  • Deliver Monthly, Quarterly and Annual status report/briefs. Provide Program Management deliverables and revisions IAW agreed upon schedules.

 

 

Experience:

 

  • At least 10 years of Program Management experience, 7 of which (were) within the last 10 years.
  • In depth knowledge of Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) and FEM Service customers' business processes

  

 

Required Certification and Clearance:

 

 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification 
  • Certification or Equivalent with DOD 8570.01M and or DODD 8140.
  • Minimum of an Active Secret Security Clearance.  We can maintain your Top Secret clearance.

 

 

 Education:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)

 

Main Location: Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia.  Travel may be required to other locations.
