About the Opportunity

DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for Technical Project Manager – Reporting & Data Management to support our customer in Linthicum, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of data and reporting analysts who would be responsible for sourcing, cleansing, transforming and standardizing data as well as creating and publishing data extracts, dashboards and reports focused on COVID-19 claims and lab results.


You will also manage intake and prioritization of COVID-19 data and reporting requests from external and internal customers and partners.

You will provide guidance to the analysts to ensure that the data and reporting solutions being developed by the team can fulfill the business needs of external and internal customers and partners.

You will interact with many internal and external partners to understand information architecture, data flow, and source data to ensure accurate mapping of data to support regulatory reporting.

You will also be expected to provide Project Management support for the customer’s initiative to migrate existing platforms to cloud.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of data extracts, dashboards and reports focused on COVID-19 data.
  • Manage intake and prioritization of COVID-19 data requests from external and internal customers and partners.
  • Performs day-to-day management of the project teams, identifies issues and risks and recommends possible issue and risk mitigation strategies associated with the project.
  • Identifies critical paths, tasks, dependencies, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide support for timely resolution of data and reporting issues.
  • Coordinate discussion with key stakeholders to define reporting requirements 



Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 3+ years BI Reporting and DWH Implementation experience.
  • Experience and knowledge with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and waterfall.
  • Ability to effectively interact with, present information to, and respond to questions from all levels of the organization users.
  • Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivation to be able to work and learn independently in solving problems.


Additional Skills/ Preferences:

  • Experience in managing projects on Cloud Platform.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certification are preferred.
  • Experience with business analytics, in particular with Tableau, Power BI and/or ArcGIS.
  • Prior experience working with Healthcare data such as claims, lab results, member, and provider info.


Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
