As a Cloud Native AWS Developer, you’ll be creating AWS hosted solutions using modern technologies such as Lambdas and Dynamo DB to solve our clients’ challenges. Your Responsibilities

  • Coding, debugging, and supporting AWS cloud-based applications
  • Performing unit, integration, and system testing
  • Implementing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience building Cloud Native AWS solutions
  • Proficient in object-oriented development and design patterns
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript Experience building containerized apps using Docker/Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of AWS technologies such as Lambda, Lambda Layers, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, Dynamo DB, Aurora, ECS, EKS, Fargate, and IaC (CloudFormation, SAM, CDK).
  • Established experience creating RESTful web APIs using Node.js, and/or Java
  • Experience with connecting to SOAP and WSDL-based services
  • Demonstrable knowledge of object-oriented development
  • Proficient in relational database systems such as SQL Server and Oracle with experience with queries, stored procedures/functions, and views, Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, unit testing, and clean code
  • Knowledge of Git source control or similar
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated and excellent presentation skills 
  • Ability to effectively work both autonomously as well as on a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting experience or experience working directly with end users of your software
  • Background working in an Agile methodology to develop software
  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher
  • Experience helping lead development teams
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Experience with TypeORM
  • Experience with building Oracle Driver Lambda layers
