About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, propose, and execute strategies aligned with our Federal clients business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that drive business value.
  • Drive cultural and organizational transformation efforts to support IT strategy alignment.
  • Oversee the execution of the IT services contract, ensuring adherence to requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Evaluate contract performance against key metrics and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure the delivery of robust, reliable, scalable, and secure IT services that meet business needs.
  • Implement methodologies to shift from reactive to proactive IT support, improving service levels and reducing downtime.
  • Drive innovation in IT service delivery through the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiencies.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the IT organization.
  • Lead change management efforts to support the adoption of new IT initiatives and technologies.
  • Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and facilitate training as needed.
  • Mitigate risks associated with organizational change and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure alignment of IT services with business needs.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ Years of Experience as a Program Manager
  • 3+ years of SAFe experience; certified SAFe Architect

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

  • Proven experience as a program manager or similar role in IT service management.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service delivery best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
