About the Opportunity

DMI is looking for a full-time Automotive & Manufacturing Sales Hunter who will be based out of our offices in the Midwest (Detroit or Indianapolis). Ideal location would be MI, WI, OH, IL and IN.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The individual needs to be highly motivated, confident with strong relationship-building skills, sales experience, and a customer-first attitude. This position will work closely with the team on prospecting and lead development, outreach, and presentations to prospects, closing net new business for our certification product and uncovering new opportunities to grow the business. This position will also assist the team in the management and coordination of external partners and vendors.

This is a Hunter Sales role as we hunt for new business and drive sales. This is a great opportunity to get in at the ground level and determine your destiny as you sell a new, innovative, and highly regarded solution for organizations to measure, assess, and improve workplace culture.

 

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  6+ year

 

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

  This role requires someone who isn't afraid to aggressively chase down new leads and will be uber diligent about following up, all the while having the finesse to know when and how to close the deal. The role requires the individual to be hungry and motivated to make connections and open new doors for DMI within the Automotive, Manufacturing, Logistics and Transportation domain by understanding the needs of the industry, evaluating triggers of the customers, and maintaining client expectations. The territory for the position is North America including Canada and Mexico.

The individual needs to bring in their existing connections and relationships to the role and align DMI capabilities within Digital Strategy, Digital Commerce, Software Engineering, Connected Solutions, Data, AI and ML Solutions, Mobility Services etc. 

The individual will be responsible for growing net new business, new pipeline with new logos and must have deep understanding of markets & competition to develop appropriate account plan and  winning sales strategies.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Generate Profitable Revenue from New and/or existing Accounts.
  • Generate New streams of Revenue from New and/or existing customers.
  • Achieve targets (bookings, gross margin)
  • Build Business and Account Plan and execute the strategy to expand customer base in the assigned vertical
  • Ensure face time with customer for selling and conduct sales presentations
  • Work with cross-functional teams for new business opportunities.
  • System/Tools
  • Salesforce CRM understanding for pipeline tracking & reporting.
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Creating & updating account plan
  • Understanding effort estimation & pricing methods
