About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking an experienced Connected Vehicle Program Manager to join our team for a long-term project based in Auburn Hills, MI. This role involves taking full ownership and driving Connected Car programs from inception to market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, connected vehicle domain, and program management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Connected Car programs, ensuring successful delivery from concept to market.
  • Utilize expertise in the automotive industry and connected vehicle technologies to drive innovation and program success.
  • Oversee task tracking, reporting, communications, and coordination of program activities.
  • Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage the software development lifecycle (requirements, UI/UX, development, quality, traceability).
  • Collaborate with global, matrixed teams, ensuring partnerships are well-coordinated and productive.
  • Ensure alignment across enterprise technology domains such as applications, data, infrastructure, security, and privacy.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, concept diagrams, and product specifications.
  • Maintain strong, clear communication with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, through regular status reporting.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

  • 10+ years' of total experience
  • 5+ years’ Program/Project Management experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in status reporting to C-suite executives 
  • Expertise in automotive and connected car domains.
  • Strong understanding of modern application development, including cloud and microservices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills.
