About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join us for a 12+ month project. This position is remote, working EST hours.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Create visually appealing and user-centric designs for digital applications, including mobile, web, and AI solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to produce wireframes and then translate into high-fidelity visual designs.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual language across all digital products leveraging a design system.
  • Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions to stakeholders.
  • Asset Creation: Produce design assets, including icons, graphics, and animations, for use in digital applications.
  • Design Systems: Leverage existing design systems and style guides to streamline the design process wile providing feedback to the design system team on improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in visual design, preferably within a digital application development environment.

 Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch and Figma or similar.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to create responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
