DMI, LLC is seeking a full time Connected-IoT Engineer to join us. 

The engineer is responsible for working with global automotive and manufacturing clients in designing, developing, and implementing connected/IoT solutions. Perform, analysis, record, and track defects to closure. Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for end-to-end integrity and cloud functionality. Design and perform unit and functional testing of end-to-end components.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement components and modules of connected solutions.
• Design, develop and build end to end test cases.
• Perform, analysis and record and track defects to closure.
• Work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and cloud functionality.

Skills & Qualifications: 

• IoT/Connected experience.
• Experience working with devices on the edge (hardware) for connectivity, telemetry, and data analytics.
• Familiarity with designing and developing components focused on reliability and performance.
• Experience utilizing a majority of the following technologies.
  • TCP/IP
  • HTTP
  • MQTT
  • JSON, XML or others
  • CAN Architecture
  • APIs and Microservices
  • Cybersecurity (SSL, TSL certificates)
  • AWS/Azure/GCP certificates
  • C++, Java, Python

 Additional Desired Experience: 

• Experience with OTA solutions and platforms.
• Experience with simulation tools and equipment (i.e.: test benches and modules)
• Working knowledge in python scripting or similar for deployment, execution, etc.
• Knowledge with onboard (hardware, edge devices), offboard (application, web, cloud), and Connectivity (protocols, APIs, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience in data visualization and analytics.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies for adaptive project management.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in related areas.
• Experience with projects involving Client interactions.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional time-management skills
