About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Bid and Proposal team as a member of Core Pursuit Teams. These teams focus on bidding and preparing solutions for proposals for both federal and commercial opportunities. They are dedicated to helping us bring together the best of DMI and architecting best in class Enterprise Level Technical responses – ensuring the highest standards of Solutioning excellence, insight, competency and quality.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manages the solution process, performs solution governance and is accountable for end-to-end solutions and deal outcome as part of the core team.
  2. Leads the development of an early conception of the solution, creating overall Solution graphic(s) and a Solution on a Page to visualize the solution and validate it with the customer.
  3. Develops an overall delivery model and costing strategy to meet price-to-win target, mitigate solution capability gaps, and perform the solution risk assessment.
  4. Responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic guidance in the design and implementation of large-scale, complex IT system proposals for the Federal Government and Commercial markets. You should have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  5. Strong relationships with Federal and Commercial Sales Teams, Bids & Proposals, SME’s and external Prospects. Accountable for creation of the technical proposal volume and takes part in gate and color reviews; takes on technical writing when necessary. This may include attending customer meetings, presenting solutions, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the solutioning process.
  6. Solution Design: Leads the development of a comprehensive and in-depth solution to achieve customer goals on the pursuit/opportunity. You and the team will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that meet the Federal government's complex and unique requirements. You should be able to develop comprehensive system architectures and integration plans that consider the entire IT infrastructure and application landscape of the organization and propose the DMI offerings fit for need.
  7. Proposal Development: Required to develop –Integration of Technical Architecture(s), Bill of Materials (BOM), Basis of Estimate(s) (BOE), including Skill Mix and level of effort (LOE), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Continual Service Improvement (CSI) plans and delivery models across capabilities, and coordinates procurement efforts.
  8. Compliance and Security: You will need to ensure that our solution proposals comply with all applicable regulations and standards, including security requirements. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Federal security policies and standards and be able to advise on the best approaches to meet these requirements.
  9. Industry Knowledge: You will require a deep knowledge of the Federal government IT industry, including current trends and emerging technologies.

 

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years as a Lead Solutions Architect/overall 10+ years of experience

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

  1. Strong Technical and Business Acumen: Enterprise Architecture Lead must possess strong technical knowledge along with a clear understanding of the business processes, industry trends, and customer requirements. You must be capable of analyzing complex systems and processes to architect solutions against a clients brief within all parameters as set out.
  2. Business Analysis: You should have experience in business analysis, including experience in areas such as requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
