About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Workday Architect to join us. 

 

The Workday Architect will assist the Dept of Legislative Services with their current implementation of the HR and Finance modules.  This role will focus on data storage, data mappning, integrations, reporting, and security within the Workday ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday’s data structures, reporting tools, and integration capabilities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Data Architecture & Strategy
    • Design and maintain the Workday data architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance policies.
    • Develop and implement data models, structures, and best practices to optimize Workday’s HCM, Finance, and other modules.
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across the Workday platform and integrated systems.
  1. Workday Reporting & Analytics
    • Lead the development of Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
    • Optimize and manage Workday Prism Analytics and other reporting tools.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational reporting requirements.
  1. Data Integration & Security
    • Oversee Workday integrations with third-party applications, ERP systems, and data warehouses.
    • Ensure Workday data security policies are implemented, including role-based access controls (RBAC) and data privacy compliance.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize Workday data extracts (EIBs, APIs, and Workday Studio integrations).
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Provide guidance on data governance, reporting strategy, and system optimization.
    • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday data-related initiatives.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience with Workday, including HCM, Finance, or other modules.

 Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Strong expertise in Workday data modeling, reporting (Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics, Calculated Fields), and integrations.
  • Experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop scalable Workday data solutions.

Preferred:

  • Workday certifications in Data, Integrations, or Reporting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing, SQL, or ETL tools.
  • Previous experience in large-scale Workday implementations or migrations.
