About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior MS Azure Cloud Services Architect to join us. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure to support remote access services, virtual desktops, and high-availability frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based architectures, ensuring compliance with CDC IT governance, security protocols, and federal cloud standards.
  • Collaborate with Remote Access Services (RAS) teams to integrate Azure cloud services into virtual desktop and application delivery environments.
  • Optimize Azure resource allocation using cloud automation tools to enhance performance, improve efficiency, and minimize operational costs.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization efforts for CDC’s enterprise operations.
  • Provide technical leadership in cloud strategy, ensuring resilience, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Oversee the implementation of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.
  • Monitor cloud environments, analyze performance metrics, and implement proactive security measures to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for consistent and automated provisioning.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and technical teams on Azure best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field.
  • 5-7 Years of experience 

Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
