DMI, LLC is looking for a Mid-Senior Software Engineer to join our team for an 8 month project! This is a remote role for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones (must overlap with ET hours).

What You’ll Do:

• Build and enhance applications in a modified agile environment.
• Collaborate with a talented team to deliver high-quality software.
• Work with modern technologies and best practices.

• Modernizing a surety bond application.

• High visibility and high profile.

• Work in blended teams.

• Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Surety – business unit.

Education and Years of Experience:  

• 4+ years of software development experience 

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Web Components
• Backend: NestJS, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, SQL (PostgreSQL), MongoDB
• DevOps: AWS, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, Swagger/OpenAPI
• Testing: Playwright
• Current app is built in Ruby, nice to have Ruby experience.
