DMI, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of an IT Service Management (ITSM) solution on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires expertise in ITSM best practices, process automation, integrations, and platform architecture to ensure a scalable, high-performing solution. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and business process owners to translate business needs into ServiceNow capabilities while ensuring alignment with enterprise IT strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ServiceNow ITSM Architecture & Implementation

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
• Define enterprise-wide ServiceNow architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Implement workflow automation, UI policies, business rules, and scripts to streamline IT processes.

Integration & Platform Management

• Design and develop integrations with third-party applications, including monitoring tools, CMDB sources, ITOM solutions, and identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure, AWS, Jira, SCCM, SolarWinds).
• Oversee REST/SOAP API configurations, MID Server implementations, and data transformations.
• Provide expertise in cloud-based or hybrid ServiceNow deployments and best practices for system performance.

Process Optimization & Governance

• Work with business process owners and IT teams to map ServiceNow functionalities to ITIL best practices.
• Define governance frameworks for managing ServiceNow development, customization, and updates.
• Ensure CMDB data integrity by enforcing best practices for data governance and asset management.

Security, Compliance & Performance

• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), multi-factor authentication, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST).
• Optimize ServiceNow performance and system health by monitoring logs, scripts, and background jobs.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as a technical advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between ServiceNow solutions and business goals.
• Guide developers and admins, conduct code reviews, and establish development best practices.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff and end-users.

Education and Years of Experience:  

• 8+ years of experience in ITSM solutions with at least 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture & implementation.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules, CMDB, and Service Catalog design.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Business Rules, Flow Designer).
• Deep understanding of ITIL v3/v4 best practices.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and third-party tool connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow security models, RBAC, ACLs, and authentication mechanisms.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboarding.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Requirements:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
• Experience with ITOM, ITAM, or SecOps modules in ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) for regression testing.
• Experience with ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
