THE MISSION

Behind every training simulation, every credential check, every scheduling system, and every security camera sits a server that has to work. You'll own the compute environment that powers FLETC—where uptime isn't a metric, it's a mission requirement.

This isn't commodity IT. FLETC trains officers from over 90 partner organizations. When your servers are up, those officers are learning skills that save lives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead enterprise systems engineering and server operations across all FLETC sites
• Prioritize and resolve system outages and infrastructure risks with minimal mission impact
• Design and implement server solutions aligned with Government requirements and security standards
• Coordinate with network, storage, and data center teams for integrated service delivery
• Support cloud engineering and hybrid environment migrations
• Ensure systems meet availability, capacity, and continuity objectives
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to systems staff

• • 5+ years of detailed technical experience in systems engineering within the last 7 years
  • Experience prioritizing system outages, projects, and tasks in enterprise environments
  • Technical leadership ensuring optimal system performance
  • Proven ability to design and implement server systems per Government requirements
  • Strong knowledge of systems principles, protocols, and design
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing systems infrastructure
  • Experience with cloud engineering and migration strategies
  • Ability to coordinate with data center engineering teams across multiple locations

  NICE TO HAVE

  ○ Microsoft, VMware, or Red Hat certifications

  ○ Experience with federal data center consolidation initiatives

  ○ Background in high-availability and disaster recovery architectures
